Campaign Finance Reform

Corporate, Special Interest and Dark Money must be reduced or eliminated. Politics is shaped by the billions of dollars that are injected into our elections. Congress spends some 40% of its time asking for money. When a company or billionaire “donates” big money, it expects results; it expects results that benefit it not necessarily you. I believe the justices of the United States Supreme Court were wrong in deciding Citizens United. Whether you like him or not, Bernie Sanders had the political establishment worried that millions of ordinary people could keep up with the Donor Class that rules politics.

On a related note, I support term limits for the U.S. Congress and Senate. We must not allow career politicians to become so embedded and beholden to special interests.
